Peer-to-peer fundraising is raising money for a cause through your social circle.

In four easy steps, you can use peer-to-peer fundraising to raise money for Friends of St. Marks Wildlife Refuge by using Facebook birthday donations.

It doesn’t cost you anything.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Go to https://www.facebook.com/fundraisers?birthday&source=help_center_how_to_create_birthday_fundraiser.

Step 2

Click on “Select nonprofit”

Step 3

A screen will display that says “Choose a nonprofit”. Type “St. Marks Refuge Association”. Select “St. Marks Refuge Association, Inc.

Step 4

You’re almost done! This is the last step

On this final step, you can edit the amount of your fundraising goal, choose an end date for your campaign, and edit the title and message you want displayed. The more personal this message is, the more impact you will have.

Click “Create”.

That’s it.

Within 45 days of the end of your goal the funds will be distributed to the Friends of St. Marks.
