Visitor Center

The Visitor Center at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge is at 1255 Lighthouse Road (map).  It is open from 8 AM until 4 PM on weekdays and 10 AM until 5 PM on weekends, every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving. The phone number is 850-925-6121. 

The Visitor Center should be your first stop, whether you’re visiting the refuge for the first time or you are a regular visitor; it’s a great source of information. You can view educational displays, learn about what you can see and do on the refuge, obtain maps and informational brochures, sign up for activities and tours that require registration, obtain helpful hints on current wildlife sightings, and purchase federal entrance passes. The Visitor Center relies heavily on volunteers to provide these services.
